Uncharted Yard Care

About Uncharted Yard Care

Every yard in Payson has a corner nobody has gotten to in a while. Uncharted Yard Care goes looking for those — the strip behind the shed, the slope where the lawn gives out toward the field, the fence line a trimmer never quite reaches. The town sits where the valley finally quits and the road starts climbing toward Payson Canyon, and the yards follow that same tilt, half flat and half hill. Mowing them well means walking them first. In late August, when the air smells like cut grass and dust ahead of Onion Days, a lawn mowed, trimmed and blown off end to end reads like a small map finally filled in.
