About NarrowLeaf Landscaping
The narrowleaf cottonwood is a Utah native, thin-leafed and thrifty with water, and it does fine in a valley that gets its year's drink from snowmelt off the Wasatch. NarrowLeaf Landscaping takes that as a working idea: mow at a height that shades its own roots, water less by growing turf that can take it, and let the beds hold their shape without fuss. The crew mows, edges, trims and clears through the growing months, and pulls the yard back to bare and tidy once the cottonwoods along the sloughs turn. Down at the Ogden Nature Center the ponds go still in October and the whole city seems to exhale; a well-kept lawn does something similar on a smaller scale. Careful, unhurried care, given to Ogden yards one visit at a time.
