Nephi's Tree Care

About Nephi's Tree Care

Mount Nebo stands over Nephi so plainly that people give directions by it, and the town's trees grew up in the wind that pours out of Salt Creek Canyon. Nephi's Tree Care keeps that wind from writing the whole story, pruning young orchard and yard trees into a frame that can carry weight, trimming limbs back from barns, sheds and second-story eaves, and taking down what has split at the union. When a spring gale runs down the Juab Valley and lays a poplar windbreak over a fence line, cleanup is a day of saw work and a truckload hauled away. Nephi yards are green islands in dry-farm country, and the difference between a tended tree and a neglected one shows from the highway. This is the tended kind.
