About Joshua Tree Experts

Little Cottonwood Creek runs straight through Murray Park under some of the broadest canopy in the valley, and the blocks around it grew up in that shadow. Joshua Tree Experts works those streets, trimming crowns off the eaves of low bungalows, pruning for structure while a tree is still young enough to listen, and removing the ones that have gone hollow. Late in summer the canyon wind drops out of Big Cottonwood after dark and rearranges the neighborhood; by morning there are limbs on the parking strip and a crew clearing them. In the winter inversion, when the valley goes flat and gray, a bare pruned silver maple has a shape to it you can admire from the sidewalk. That shape is the work.
