About Excellence Tree & Landscape

Little Cottonwood Creek slips through Murray on its way to the Jordan River, and the mature trees that have grown up along its banks over the decades form some of the best canopy in the city, shade in July and a real mess of leaves every October. A tree and landscape crew working those blocks spends real time on canopy care, pruning for storm resistance, taking out deadwood before it comes down on a fence or a car, plus the ordinary lawn work the rest of the property needs. Winter turns the same trees bare and reveals just how much structure a good pruning job left behind, while down at ground level the crew is busy clearing driveways and walks along those same creekside streets. There's a lasting satisfaction in a tree shaped well enough that it survives the next windstorm standing, and in a walkway cleared before the morning commute starts. Murray's older, tree-heavy neighborhoods keep that combination of care, canopy and concrete both, worth doing well.
