About Holmes Lawn & Pest

On a July evening the ball fields at Midvale City Park stay light until nearly nine, and a cool draft slides down out of Little Cottonwood just as the day lets go of its heat. Holmes Lawn & Pest keeps lawns on that same summer clock — mowing before the sun gets mean, trimming close to posts and foundations, blowing the walks clean before leaving a property. Turf out here works for a living, so it gets fertilization and weed control on a schedule that respects how fast a Utah August can cook a yard. When the nights begin to cool, aeration and overseeding go in, and leaf cleanup follows the maples down street by street. The mower lines fade within the week; the habit of a well-kept lawn shows the whole year.
