The Logan River comes out of its canyon cold and quick, passes under the road at the mouth, and then threads the town in a line of cottonwoods you can trace from almost anywhere on the bench. Logan River Landscaping & Construction LLC takes its name from that water and works the yards along it — mowing, trimming, edging, aeration and overseeding where the shade of those old trees has thinned the turf out. Cottonwood country means cotton in June and a real leaf season in October, and both get handled without fuss. The reward is the walk-away look at the end of a stop: lines even, borders clean, driveway swept, nothing left behind but the smell of cut grass. The route runs through Logan and out to Providence, Millville, Nibley and North Logan.
