By midweek most winters, the plowed snowbanks along Logan's Main Street have grown taller than the parking meters, pushed higher with every truck that passes after the first crews clear a path. Cache Hauling and Demo runs the loaders and dump trucks that come through after the plows, hauling that packed, dirty snow off downtown streets and commercial lots so sightlines and parking don't disappear under it. It's heavier work than a simple plow pass: loading, hauling, dumping, repeating the circuit block by block until the curb lines reappear. The crew works the commercial blocks near downtown and the lots serving Logan's Main Street businesses, clearing what accumulates faster than it can melt in a valley that holds onto its cold. By the time they're done, a street that looked half-buried by noon is passable again by evening.
