About Wasatch Summit Solutions

The ridgeline above Kaysville catches the first and the last light of a winter day, and by the time that high snow has gone pink at dusk, the driveways and walks on the streets below have usually been dealt with hours before — this crew's version of the same view, worked from ground level instead of admired from it. Barnes Park and the streets around it fill with sledders after a good storm, kids taking advantage of the same snow that this crew is busy clearing from driveways two blocks over, one town holding both uses of a single storm at once. Kaysville's winters run long enough on the bench that the work isn't a matter of a single event but a season's worth of them, each storm needing the same driveways cleared again before the next one arrives. The name points at the mountains, but the actual work happens at the bottom of them, on the ordinary ground between a house and a street. Getting that ground clear, storm after storm, is the whole job.
