About Apex Landscaping LLC
Late August, and the monsoon builds over Padre Canyon until the walls above Tuacahn go dark and the first fat drops hit hot pavement. Apex Landscaping LLC reads that sky the way everyone in Ivins does — mow early, get the trimming done, let the storm rinse the rest. Their work is the ordinary rhythm of a kept yard: cutting, edging, hedge trimming, hauling off clippings and the wind's leavings, clearing beds where runoff wants to spread gravel across a driveway. After a canyon storm the air smells like wet stone and the grass practically stands up straighter. That is a fine hour to be doing this work.
