About Rock Creek Landscapes & Dirtworx

Dig anywhere along Hyrum's benches and you turn up rounded river cobble, laid down long before there was a town sitting on top of it, and it makes fine ground for a lawn once you understand what is underneath. Rock Creek Landscapes & Dirtworx works from the soil up: aeration to break compaction and let water travel past the hardpan, feeding on a schedule the turf can actually use, overseeding the thin spots so they fill in rather than surrender to weeds. October is when the plugs come out clean and the fall feeding does the most good, right alongside the leaf cleanup. Through the season it is the weekly mow, the trim work along fences, and edges kept true. Grass is only ever as good as the few inches beneath it.
