Herriman's newer streets are still growing into their trees, but the ones planted a decade back now arch enough to hold a real weight of snow after an overnight storm, bowing low over the sidewalk until someone knocks them clear. PolyTrees reads a yard for exactly that risk — which limbs are loaded past what they can hold, which stretch of walk needs clearing twice because the canopy keeps dropping more from above. The ground work is straightforward: driveways scraped to bare concrete, walks salted before the school run, storm debris and snow both hauled off the same morning. There's a particular quiet under a snow-heavy canopy before the streets wake up, just the scrape of the blade and a soft fall of snow shaken loose from the branches overhead.
