The Roofing Experience

About The Roofing Experience

As the light goes flat and blue over Harrisville in the late afternoon, the eaves along its older streets are usually the last thing still holding snow, ice built up in the gutters long after the driveways below have been scraped clear. The Roofing Experience works that edge between roofline and ground, clearing walkways and drives while watching for the ice dams that can back meltwater up under shingles on a house that's gone a few days without full sun. Harrisville's winter light is short enough that a morning thaw rarely finishes its work before the afternoon shadow of the bench swings back over the street, refreezing whatever gutter ice had started to loosen. The crew times its passes to that light, clearing walks early and checking eaves again before dusk. Full dark finds the walk to the door bare, the ice along the roofline given one less day to do any damage.
