About Frosty's Tree Service LLC

Harrisville still carries a few rows of old orchard trees along its back streets, holdovers from the fruit ground this stretch of Weber County used to be, and on a cold morning their bare limbs collect a fine coat of frost that catches the light before anything else does. Frosty's clears the driveways and walkways beneath those old trees, working carefully around root heaves and low branches that a plow blade could otherwise catch. Snow that falls through bare limbs lands lighter and drier on the ground below than it does in the open, but the shade those same trees throw later in the day slows the melt and can leave a walk icy well past noon. The crew treats those shaded stretches on a second pass once the morning frost has had its chance to burn off elsewhere. The walk under the old trees comes bare again well before noon, the frost gone from every branch overhead.
