About Fremont Excavation, LLC

High in Wayne County, Fremont lies where hay meadows run out toward the long forested flank of Thousand Lake Mountain, and winter at this altitude arrives thin, cold and sudden. Fremont Excavation, LLC answers it with snow removal, pushing the overnight fall off drives so morning chores can start on time. The Fremont River runs dark between frosted willows while the blade scrapes gravel back into view. An excavation outfit reads ground for a living — where it slopes, where it drains, where a drift will want to lodge — and that knowledge shows in a wide, even pass. By the time the sun climbs over the mountain, the route to the road lies open and the white fields glitter on either side.
