About Arete Landscapes

Morning arrives in Farmington from the east, spilling out of the canyon mouth long before it ever reaches the lake. Arete Landscapes works those first cool hours, when the radar domes on Francis Peak still hold light no yard has yet and the grass keeps enough dew on it to cut clean. Mowing, edging, trimming, fertilization, weed control, aeration — the plain vocabulary of a lawn kept well, spoken carefully. By the time the heat leans down off the bench, the passes are laid and the borders are true. It is ordinary work, and it is most of the reason a street looks cared for.
