Moritz Enterprise

About Moritz Enterprise

Enterprise lies out in the open high desert on the southern margin of the Escalante Valley, where center-pivot sprinklers draw great green circles across the land and blue mountains crowd the skyline beyond the farms. Moritz Enterprise carries the town's own name, a natural fit for a business that keeps lawns in a farming community shaped by hard work and long irrigation seasons. Early mornings here are cool, still and sage-scented, the right hour to bring the mower out, leave the edges neat and run the trimmer close to the porch and the curb. When the valley breeze stiffens after lunch, the yard is finished, its lines as orderly as the farm rows outside town. Out where the desert meets the fields, a lawn kept this neatly is its own small green circle of pride.
