Junk Away spends most of the year hauling away what a fast-growing city sheds — old fencing, packing debris from a new build, a trailer load of scrap sod pulled up to make room for a driveway — and in winter that same flatbed and that same crew turn to hauling snow instead. Eagle Mountain's newer streets sit wide and open on the Cedar Valley floor, with little to break the wind, so drifts pile against curbs and fence lines rather than falling evenly, and clearing a driveway here often means clearing what the wind stacked against it overnight. The crew works block by block, the same way they'd clear a lot, loading a blade instead of a truck bed. What's left behind is a clean line of asphalt and a visible curb, the same tidy edge the crew leaves behind after any hauling job, just measured in inches of snow instead of pounds of scrap.
