About High Country Outdoor Services

Sitting near five thousand feet, Eagle Mountain gets its frosts early and its springs late, and the growing season has to be used while it's here. High Country Outdoor Services works that window hard — mowing and edging through the warm months, trimming, weed control and feeding, then a thorough leaf and bed cleanup once the cottonwoods let go in October. Thin air and dry ground make turf out here a little particular, and the schedule bends to what the season is actually doing rather than what the calendar says. Raking a yard down to bare, clean grass before the cold sets in is one of the better feelings in this line of work. It leaves a property ready for whatever the winter brings.
