Eagle Mountain grew so fast that half its streets are still named for the cattle ranches they replaced, and on a snow morning it's Dutton's trucks that thread every one of those cul-de-sacs before the school buses start their loop. A shared street here can mean forty driveways and one long curving sidewalk past the park strip, and clearing it in order — mailbox cluster, crosswalk, playground path — is its own kind of choreography. The wind off Cedar Valley likes to load one side of a court and leave the other bare, so the crew learns each curve by where the drifts actually collect, not where a map says they should. By the time porch lights start clicking on, the common areas are open and the walk to the bus stop is bare pavement. The last truck peels off the loop just as the first bus rounds the corner.
