Lawn Stars

About Lawn Stars

After the last cut of the evening, when the light slides off the Wasatch and the ridge above Clearfield turns violet, a fresh-mown yard holds its lines like something drawn. Lawn Stars works toward that look — even passes, clean edges along the drive and the walk, corners trimmed where wheels cannot reach. Spring here starts fast and wet, summer runs long and dry, and fall arrives with a pile of leaves to move, so the calendar sets its own schedule. Whether it is a house near Fisher Park or a storefront out on the main road, the aim does not change: a yard that looks cared for from the curb. Then the stars come out over the mountains and the block goes quiet.
