About Juniper Landscape and Design

The foothills above town are stitched with juniper and pinyon, trees that have made a whole life out of thin soil and a short growing season. Juniper Landscape and Design takes its cues from them — planting plans built around what actually wants to live here, beds shaped to the way an October rain runs off a slope, gravel and mulch that hold instead of wash. Drawings turn into installation, and installation turns into upkeep: soil prep, planting, borders, then the mowing, trimming and seasonal cleanup that keep a young yard from going wild in its second year. Nothing looks better than a new landscape in its first hard frost, everything still exactly where it was meant to be. This valley rewards patience, and a design drawn honestly for it is still beautiful a decade on.
