Grass Ninjas

About Grass Ninjas

Saturday morning along the Coal Creek trail, Cedar City is about as quiet as a town gets — a few walkers, magpies in the cottonwoods, and a mower running two streets over. Grass Ninjas would rather be that sound and then be gone: cutting, edging, trimming, grass blown off the concrete, in and out. A yard on a regular cycle never needs rescuing, which is what makes short visits possible in the first place. The mountain shades the east side all morning, and by the time the light reaches the front lawns the job is finished. Come home to a cut yard and nobody there to talk about it — that is the idea.
