DeMille Turf Farm

About DeMille Turf Farm

North of Cedar City, out toward Parowan, irrigated fields lie flat and impossibly green against the pale desert, and at dawn the water lines throw mist across all of it. DeMille Turf Farm knows grass from that ground up and brings the same eye to lawns in town: cutting, edge work, trimming, and a clean sweep of the walks once the machine shuts off. Turf mowed on a rhythm thickens and holds; turf scalped after a long gap sulks for weeks. So the schedule is as much the craft as the equipment is. There is real satisfaction in a lawn that closes in tight and even, right out to the lip of the sidewalk.
