About Secrist Landscaping & Excavation

Brigham City sits on old lake benches — terraces the ancient water left stepping up toward the range, cobble and gravel waiting a foot under the topsoil. Secrist Landscaping & Excavation works with that ground instead of against it: digging, grading and shaping a lot so the runoff from a March thaw leaves the property rather than standing against the foundation. From there comes the landscaping itself — soil brought to grade, beds and borders set, lawns established and then kept mowed, trimmed and edged through the growing months. Spring in this valley is mud long before it is green, and the yards that end up level and draining well are the ones that were dug right. There is real satisfaction in standing on finished ground that used to be a slope and a problem.
