Billy Boy Mowing

About Billy Boy Mowing

Box Elder Creek comes down out of the canyon and runs through town under old cottonwoods, and the yards along it stay green well after the rest of the valley starts to go pale. Billy Boy Mowing works those shaded blocks and the sunnier ones alike, cutting on a rhythm the grass can count on. Trimming close to trunks and fence posts, edging where turf wants to creep over concrete, walks blown clear at the end of every stop. Evening is the good hour here — sprinklers ticking, mown grass in the air, the mountains going blue behind the rooftops. Simple work, carried all the way into the corners.
