About Larkin Landscaping

Bountiful is a town built on steps — ancient Lake Bonneville cut its shorelines into this hillside long before anyone laid a street across them, and half the yards in the city still sit on that old grade. Larkin Landscaping works with the tilt instead of against it: beds shaped to hold, soil graded so autumn runoff has somewhere sensible to go, sod set on ground that was leveled first and hurried second. Early fall is the good season for it, when the nights cool off, new plantings root without fighting the sun, and the whole bench smells like cut grass and dust settling. Mowing and trimming keep the finished work in trim once it takes hold. The reward is a sloped lot that finally behaves like a yard — usable, planted, and holding its own line across the hill.
