About Hatch Lawn and Yard Services

October comes down off the canyons quickly here, and within a week the back yards along Barton Creek are ankle-deep in maple and ash. Hatch Lawn and Yard Services works that stretch of the calendar hard — leaves raked out of the fence corners and window wells, the last few cuts taken low and clean, everything bagged and hauled before the first hard frost sets it in place. Trimming tightens the borders one final time, so the lawn goes into winter with its shape intact. There's something steadying about a yard put fully to bed: bare, swept, quiet, waiting. Come spring the same route starts over, and the mowing picks up where the raking left off.
