About Garces Lawn Care & Landscaping

The soil under Bountiful still remembers orchards; the town was named for fruit long before it was named for anything else. Garces Lawn Care & Landscaping works that ground the way it wants to be worked — beds turned and mulched in the cool part of spring, sod laid while the nights are still forgiving, edges cut so the planting and the lawn each know where they stop. Mowing and trimming carry the weeks between, keeping everything in proportion as the season fills in. On a June morning up near Tunnel Springs, with the canyon still shaded and the valley opening out below, a freshly bordered bed against new turf looks like the yard finally agreed with itself. The pleasure of the job is watching a plain rectangle of grass turn into a place somebody wants to sit.
