About Stan Hogan Construction

Winter comes into Bear River City sideways, the wind pushing new snow across the open farmland until it packs into drifts against fences, sheds and garage doors. Stan Hogan Construction handles snow removal here, a construction outfit turning its equipment and its early hours to clearing driveways and approaches. The work starts in the dark, while the eastern ridgeline is still a black wall under the last of the night and the interstate is only a faint string of lights. By the time the sky pinks up over those peaks, the drive is scraped down to pavement and the way out is open. On a January morning in this flat, windswept country, that cleared lane is a welcome sight.
