Lawn Thumbs

About Lawn Thumbs

There is one morning in March when American Fork smells like wet ground again, the inversion has finally scrubbed out of the valley, and the grass is suddenly two inches taller than anybody noticed. Lawn Thumbs waits for it. The first cut of the year is a small ceremony — winter debris off the turf, the mower set high, edges reestablished where the plow spray and the frost pushed them around. From there it becomes a steady weekly habit that carries all the way to the last mow of autumn. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup for American Fork, Lehi and the neighborhoods spread between them, done on a schedule you stop having to think about.
