On the newer streets climbing toward Cedar Hills, every lawn is a shape — a rectangle, a wedge along a curved curb, a strip between driveway and fence — and the whole look of the block depends on whether those shapes are held. Lawn Butler works to that geometry: mow lines run true, trimming brought right to the base of the light post, the border along concrete cut sharp enough to cast its own small shadow at five o'clock. Utah Valley grass grows in bursts after the spring runoff and slows under the August sun, so the cut changes with the month. Coming home to a yard that looks finished, with the clippings blown off the drive and nothing shaggy left in the corners, is the entire reward. American Fork and the towns just up the bench get the same treatment each visit.
