Utah Lawn and Garden

About Utah Lawn and Garden

Deer come down out of Fort Canyon at dusk and walk the Alpine streets as though they hold the deeds, which up here they nearly do. The ground they cross is glacial rubble under a thin skin of topsoil, and growing good grass on it takes feeding — so Utah Lawn and Garden leans on fertilization, weed control and aeration alongside the mowing, edging and trimming. Soil like this rewards patience: a yard tended steadily across one season looks like a different property by the end of it. Alpine's dry summer air and cold, clear nights set the pace of the whole year. The route covers Alpine and the towns just below the mountain front.
