About Leaf It 2 Us

The name is a pun with a plan inside it. When autumn finally reaches Yantis, late as it tends to, the sweetgums turn wine-red and drop their spiky seed balls across lawns all over town. Leaf It 2 Us gathers what the trees let go, raking and clearing lawns and beds so the turf underneath can breathe before winter. Through the green months the work keeps going, with regular mowing and trimming that hold a property neat until the next spring flush. There is a deep satisfaction in a yard cleared down to the grass on a bright November afternoon, the piles gone and the borders showing again. Leave the leaves to them, and enjoy the color from the porch.
