About TEXAS STONE EDGE LLC

The ground beneath Wylie is Blackland Prairie — dark, heavy clay that swells with rain and pulls tight in the heat, and every lawn in town is grown on top of it. TEXAS STONE EDGE LLC works with that ground rather than against it, mowing, edging, trimming and clearing seasonal debris, keeping turf thick enough to shade the soil through the hardest weeks of the year. Under the cedar elms the grass comes in thin and wants a lighter hand; out in the open it runs fast and wants a regular one. The edge is where the name lives: a straight, clean cut where the lawn meets the drive, the bed, the stone. Held week to week, that one line makes the whole yard look intended.
