JD's Makit Green

About JD's Makit Green

Lavon Lake spreads beyond Wylie's northern edge, and on spring afternoons the breeze coming off the water carries the smell of rain and cut grass through the neighborhoods. JD's Makit Green lives up to its name, bringing lawns out of winter's brown and back into deep, even color as the warm-season grasses wake in April. Mowing, edging and steady care turn the young yards of a fast-growing suburb into lawns that look settled and full. Near the shoreline, where boats head out on weekend mornings, a sharp edge along the driveway and a clean cut across the front yard say a lot about a home. Every spring the goal is simple, and it is right there in the name: make it green.
