806 Turf and Outdoors

About 806 Turf and Outdoors

Ask around and the 806 turns out to be less a phone prefix than a stretch of country: cotton rows, caliche roads, and towns like Wolfforth set down in the middle of all that air. 806 Turf and Outdoors keeps lawns here through the long green run from April to October, when the grass grows about as fast as the wind can dry it out. The work is mowing on the schedule the turf sets, trimming close around mailboxes and meter lids, and blowing the walks before the trailer gets loaded again. A yard cut evenly against so much open horizon has a way of looking deliberate. That is most of the reason to do it right.
