GAS CANS LAWN SERVICES

About GAS CANS LAWN SERVICES

Ramp down, gate open, the mixed smell of cut grass and two-stroke hanging in the humidity — that is a working morning in Willis, and GAS CANS LAWN SERVICES makes the rounds of it. The route runs the farm-to-market roads that spoke out of town, past cattle gates and cul-de-sacs alike, one yard at a time. Mow, edge, trim the fence line, blow the walk, load up, roll on. The pines throw long bars of shade across the trailer while they work, and by afternoon a string of properties down the road all look the same kind of cared-for. Simple equipment, honest sweat, and a lawn that shows it.
