Basic Mowing

About Basic Mowing

There is a particular smell to a Whitney afternoon in June — cut grass, hot caliche, a little dust off the county road — and it is one of the better ones going. Basic Mowing makes it for a living. The offer is exactly what the name promises: the lawn mowed at the right height, trimmed where the deck won't reach, edged along the pavement, and the walks blown clean before anybody gets home. Yards around here run from small town lots to a couple of acres, and both get the same even pass. It is plain work, and a plain yard cut well is a fine thing to pull into.
