In March the loblollies around Whitehouse let go all at once, and every mailbox, porch rail and windshield in town wears the same green-gold dust. That is when Arboris Lawn and Landscape opens its year: the first mow, when bermuda is only half awake under the winter thatch and a single pass changes how a whole street reads. Mowing here means working around shallow pine roots, sandy low spots and the long shade that tall trees throw across a front yard by late afternoon. The good part is the end of it — the blower clearing the drive, the pollen line gone, the turf sitting sharp inside its own borders. Yards from the middle of Whitehouse out toward Tyler, Flint and Bullard are cut on that same rhythm, week after week, until the pollen comes back around.
