About Austin Hardscapes LLC

West Lake Hills is built on limestone, and every lawn here has struck some kind of bargain with the rock — a thin skin of soil, a slope that wants to travel downhill after a hard rain. Austin Hardscapes LLC mows these yards the way the grade asks to be mowed, across the fall of the hill, with the edge held true against stone walls and pale caliche drives. Late summer is the honest test, when grass grows in stubborn bursts between dry weeks and only a clean line tells the eye that a place is tended. String trimmer where the deck can't reach, clippings blown back off the drive, beds brought to a crisp border by mid-morning. The house looks deliberate again, and that is the whole point of the day.
