About Fred's Lawn Care

Winter is when the grapefruit comes in around Weslaco, the groves heavy and the mornings finally cool enough for sleeves. Fred's Lawn Care likes those weeks: mowing slows a little and the work turns toward cleanup, shrub trimming, bed edging and clearing the leaf and limb litter a mild norther knocks loose. Come March the growth returns all at once and the mower goes back to weekly without being asked. Either way the aim holds steady — a lawn with clean borders, a trimmed line along the fence, a driveway cleared. Citrus country keeps its yards the way it keeps its rows: tended.
