Fix It Wellington

About Fix It Wellington

The Collingsworth County courthouse holds the middle of Wellington, and the wind off the Panhandle plains never quite stops testing the trees around it. Fix It Wellington mows, edges and trims the yards that ring the square and spread out toward the section-line roads. In this country a lawn is something you keep on purpose — you water it, you cut it, you sweep the red dust off the walk — and it pays you back with a green square set against a very big sky. The work is visible from a block away: a clean line at the curb, grass off the sidewalk, a yard that plainly gets tended. Wellington and the small towns scattered around it are the ground covered.
