Ramirez services

About Ramirez services

Weir is a small town with wide edges: past its last houses, the blackland prairie of eastern Williamson County rolls out in long rows of corn, cotton and sorghum. Ramirez services keeps the yards inside those edges trim and tended, mowing, edging and clearing so each home holds its own against the open country. On a cool November morning, with mist lifting off the fields and the sun coming up flat and gold, a fresh-cut lawn in Weir looks as if it were drawn with a ruler. The dark prairie soil grows grass eagerly, and weeds just as eagerly, so the attention has to be steady and close to the ground. It is plain-spoken yard work for a place that still feels the farm at its back door.
