Heller Materials

About Heller Materials

Freight still comes through Weimar on the old rail line, and the whole town keeps half an ear on it — a long horn out past the crossing, then quiet again. Heller Materials keeps lawns mowed, edged and swept along that same stretch of Colorado County prairie, where grass jumps after every warm rain. The work is plain and it shows: straight passes across a yard, a trimmed line where turf meets fence post, clippings blown off the walk instead of tracked indoors. Summers run long and green here, and a lawn cut on a rhythm holds its color well into fall. Homes and properties around Weimar and the small places up and down US-90 are all on the round.
