About Smith Landscape Co.

The first real cool front of October drops into Ellis County out of the north all at once, and the black prairie ground finally exhales after a long Texas summer. Smith Landscape Co. does the work that follows, mowing as the growth slows, cutting the edges back sharp, trimming, and clearing leaves and clippings off drives and walkways. Autumn yards reward patience: cut them right through the last warm weeks and they come out the other side looking like nothing was ever let go. There is pride in pulling off a street and seeing a whole row of properties standing tidy in the low light. From the farm-to-market roads outside town to the blocks near the square, the work is done the same way.
