About Mr Ortiz Lawns

A November morning on the north end of town is cold at the ears and warm in the sun, and the old rail line through Waxahachie holds its fog longer than the streets do. Mr Ortiz Lawns is out in that early light with the last cuts of the year — grass brought down even, edges run true along the walks, leaves and clippings cleared off the concrete. Cool-season work here is mostly cleanup and shape, holding a yard neat until the Bermuda wakes back up. Then the mowing rotation picks up again and does not stop until fall. Service across Waxahachie and the surrounding towns.
