About A Boy and His Mower LLC

There is a Saturday sound in Waxahachie that starts around eight — a mower catching, then settling, somewhere under the live oaks near Getzendaner Park. A Boy and His Mower LLC makes that sound for a living: cutting, edging, trimming close along the fence line, then blowing the drive back to bare concrete. The old Chautauqua Auditorium sits in those trees with its eight sides open to the air, and the grass around this town looks best kept at that same easy, breathing height. Nothing complicated — grass cut on a rhythm, borders held true, clippings gone. Yards from the park streets out to the county roads get the same short list, week after week.
