About Big J’s Lawn and Landscaping Sevices

Evenings out at Lake Waxahachie the wind comes off the water and moves through the yards along the lake road like someone opening a door. Big J's Lawn and Landscaping Sevices is often out in that hour with the mower still warm — grass cut, edges run along the walk, trimmer around the posts and the mailbox, everything blown back onto the turf. A lakeside lot grows in every direction at once in summer, and the pleasure of the job is watching a shaggy half-acre come back to one even plane. Regular visits hold it there instead of letting it get away. The route runs the lake, the town, and the small places in between.
