Lott's Lawn Care

About Lott's Lawn Care

Saturday mornings at the pond in Capp Smith Park the ducks get fed and the rest of Watauga slowly gets going. Lott's Lawn Care has usually been running a while by then — mowing, edging and trimming through neighborhoods of low brick houses laid out back when this was open prairie north of Fort Worth. Bermuda and St. Augustine both grow around here and each wants a different height off the deck, which is what decides whether a yard looks even or blotchy come July. Blowing the drive and the walk clean at the end costs a minute and shows in every photograph anyone ever takes of the front of a house. Watauga first, then Keller, Saginaw and the streets in between.
